Esther Wooten MSN, FNP-C is a native of Puerto Rico. She moved to Florida in 2007 where she received her Bachelor of Science in nursing degree from the University of Miami. She worked for Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in the pediatric cardiac ICU and has also worked at Advent Health for Children in Orlando. She later completed a Master of Nursing degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She then worked at Medical City Children’s Dallas, upon moving to the DFW area.
Esther holds a national board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is also a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. Esther speaks Spanish and is a qualified bilingual healthcare provider. She has dedicated her nursing career to caring for pediatric patients and their families and has many years of experience working in a variety of settings.
Her special interests include breastfeeding support, nutrition, obesity education, and mental health. When not in the office, she enjoys traveling, baking, volunteering to foster dogs, and spending time with her husband, three children, and two dogs.
