Dr. Anji Selzer grew up locally and is the daughter of high school science and math teachers. She knew from a very young age that she would be a doctor. After graduating valedictorian at Trinity High School in Euless, she attended Texas A&M University in College Station. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M with a degree in Zoology in 1998. After attending medical school at the University of Texas in San Antonio, Dr. Selzer moved to Atlanta, Georgia for residency training in pediatrics at Emory University. She served as Chief Resident in Pediatrics and then worked for a year as Assistant Residency Program Director for Pediatrics at Emory.
In 2006, Dr. Selzer decided to move back home to Texas to be close to her family. She joined the Cook Children’s Physician Network where she worked for 4 years at the Cook Children’s Urgent Care Center in Hurst. She joined Kid Care Pediatrics in 2010.
Dr. Selzer loves being a mom and sharing the ups and downs of parenthood with her husband. In addition to spending time with family and friends, she enjoys traveling and is an avid reader.
Dr Selzer is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She very much enjoys caring for her patients and their families, and she feels it is a privilege to be their pediatrician through all the changes and challenges that can arise as kids grow from newborns to young adults.
