Dr. Williams’ decision to practice medicine stemmed from her interest in science and the complex, amazing functions of the human body. The deeper she got into her medical studies, the more passionate she felt about affecting health outcomes. Pediatric medicine allows Dr. Williams to influence patients’ lives early on by working with families to promote positive health choices and habits. She strives to partner with her patients’ families and equip them with the knowledge and guidance to help raise their children toward a well-rounded, healthy future.

It is important for Dr. Williams to look beyond her patients’ immediate medical conditions, and express an interest in each of their lives as an individual. Getting to know her patients on more than a professional level helps her to better provide recommendations or therapies to families that address their needs. When positive outcomes occur as a result of these recommendations, she feels extremely fulfilled. Dr. Williams stays balanced by spending time with her family and in her relationship with God.
